Why join ISIS, or when was the last time you read the Qur'an?

I am a bystander. I should not care. But then again, I am a human being. Living on the same planet, unfortunately. On the same planet as those cowards that claim to start a new civilization, in the same place where civilization as we know it once began. As a human being I have questions. Questions no one have answers to. Or no one has enough balls to answer to.

* My first question:  how many of the ISIS...eeerrrm (I am reluctant to call them fighters, because they are not) brainwashed cowards* have actually read the Quran? I mean all of it. I have, and I have yet to find the passage that says 'thou should cut the throat of infidels or whoever you meet on the crossroads and whose face you do not like in front of the cameras, because why the fuck not'. Believe me, I have tried to find it. Unsuccessfully thus far.

*Anyone hiding a bomb in his/her ass that goes to blow it up in a place with unsuspecting people, including women and children is a coward. This is not war, this is sadism. And no, you are not a martyr. You are a murderer. Only good thing about blowing yourself up? You can only do it once. Thing is, no one cries about you, and no one remembers your name. Everyone remembers the names of the people you killed. So it is a bit counterproductive, isn't it? PS: I'm quite sure even Allah will forget his mercy (see end of post) in that case. Cowardly mass murder is NOT an easy way to paradise, at least I have yet to find a sentence in the Quran that states 'all 72 hurans await you when you blow yourself and 156 children, most of whom are of the same religion, up in a muddy marketplace, and the God also loves the smell of exploded watermelons'

* Q2: how many of them can actually read? A third? A half? Three quarters? Whatever. Many are from Europe. They probably can. Bigger shame on them then, because they have no excuses. None.

* Q3: Have any of them read the Bible? Which is way more brutal than the Quran. I think I can be grateful some of them are illiterate. Double the fanaticism, none of the bitches, yo.

* Q4: who the fuck and why the fuck should want to spend their life (and it will probably be quite short, for most of them) with a covered face (not very heroic, patriotic, awe inspiring, trustworthy or something that makes you think 'man, these guys are up for the good thing...eee...which guys? Abu, Ali? Ibrahim? Yo, who just shot me?') in the middle of the fucking desert? People fight for money, sex, power and revenge. That is all well and good. Who would not like to enjoy what money and power gives you? If you got none of it, what exactly is the point? Power (to cut throats) alone is just not enough. Having power to take lives but having to fear for your life all the time. If anyone can explain me (and the explanation must be better than lectures of formal logic OR 'because God says so'...well, he/she does not)  WHY anyone would choose that path, I'd join ISIS, Al-Nusra, Che Guevara, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Kim Jong Un, Microsoft or any asshole organization that claims to be the new universal bliss in the world. Side note: fuck them all. Side note 2: learn to read, and maybe even think. I know this is too much to ask, but you could at least try. It is hard, I know, but still.

* Q5 (a continuation to rant in Q4): Is this the way you build a state? 'Great nations built from the bones of the dead, with mud and straw, blood and sweat' (Megadeth, Architecture of Aggression, album Countdown to Extinction,1992). Ask not what you can do for your country, ask what your country can do for you. Also Megadeth. A few years earlier. Who would like to live in this country? No TV? Ok, TV sucks anyway, I can live without it. No radio, except your daily sermon? Ditto. Can't be worse than most of the babble and 'contemporary music'. No internet? Well, fuck off now, you're going too far. 9 year old women? WHAAAT? Sex slaves? If you can't get laid without raping anyone, you probably deserve to be castrated. Isn't that what Sharia law says anyway? I know it is more complicated than that, but I'm not after specific paragraphs here.  Desert? Well, you can blame Europeans, colonization and their bad industries and even worse religion there. Well, you can blame us also for the ice age and the extinction of dinosaurs. Admitted. Let's move on. At least Eufrat and Tigris are still where they used to be. Where civilization as we know it began, and, because of whatever is in the (un)mind of some asshole(s), it is going to end. Or at least stall for a while. Goats? Nah, their meat is not too good. I'd better move to wherever is far enough from you assholes. And (if I'd end up in a place too close) sign a document that I'm not a devout muslim. Because cold beer is good. Women who like you, and not like you because they must, but beacuse, well, they just do, because they can, without covering their faces, or better yet, can wear bikinis, are good. Just chilling around wherever you want to, or where your purse allows, without the fear of being shot as an international terrorist, is good. Nice weather is good. Not having to cover your face (for all your lifespan, cause bad heretics cast bad rockets at you and your goat) is good. If you have none of the previous, why the fuck do you do it? For the warm fuzzy feeling that you can kill anyone, whose face you do not like on a whim? Well, comes another regime and does the same to you. Soon, very soon. To rule a territory, whose inhabitants hate you, and be a ruler who has to hide in caves for all your life...because ALL THE FUCKING WORLD HATES YOU AND WANTS TO KILL YOU? Why rule then, when you have no bling? No beer? No women? No nice weather. I'd pass. Even the Prohet Muhamed has said: There are three things in the world I like: good smells, [....] (if you can read, or have read the Quran (see Q1), complete the passage)

A quick reminder from the Quran, to all assholes, who think punishing (means killing in your terminology) is how Allah would like it to be. Not a quote, a reference. From memory.

A man who had sinned in every possible way in his earthly life and did not even have a single good deed to show, knocks on the door of heaven. Allah looks at him and says: throw this man to hell, for he has no place in paradise. As the angels grab the man, he cries: Allah, my God, you are being unjust! Allah frowns and says: how is that? The man kneels and answers: it is said that Allah is all powerful and all merciful. Allah nods and says: it is so that I am all mereciful, and that is why I let this man into paradise.

Every letter in the Quran is said to have a hundred or a thousand blessings in it. IF you believe a bullet to the head or a knife through the throat is a blessing (I'd figure most people do not), you are wrong. Your God does not justify what you do. Neither would mine, if I had one. Everyone is still responsible for his/her own actions and no higher being is at fault neither does it force your choices. Anyone who says 'God told/made/wanted/liked me to do [whatever vile deed]', no matter the religion, is a coward, a hypocrite, or, most likely, just an asshole.
